#the fact that you don’t have at least ten emmys hurts me

Everyone involved in this shot deserves love. Both actors, the director, the lighting designer and lighting techs, the makeup department that made sure both of their faces would show so richly in this lighting. The director who focused on both characters’ reactions, and reactions to each other.

This is one of those moments (as was the whole episode, really) that was a complete and utter team effort with everyone operating at their top game.
