Look at Molly’s face though

this episode is full of moments when they have Sherlock acting as if he’s a bride.

• you realize he threw his flower like a bride throws her bouquet.  this is Sherlock having a moment to feel like he married John.
• which is why i think back to when they were taking photo’s the photographer said just bride and groom and Sherlock stayed in the photo. John had to tell him to move.
• i also believe Sherlock didn’t spend months planning John and Mary’s wedding he planed his and John.  the fact that Mary stood at the front was irrelevant.
